I played the games, but I haven't read the books. However, I enjoyed Season 1 of "The Witcher" on Netflix. I do hope that Season 2 will be even better. There were minor things I found lacking. One of those was not making Ciri's hair an ash grey color as she was described in the story (or maybe I just forgot how she was supposed to look). Ciri in the TV series looked more blonde. I was also expecting more combat scenes. Nevertheless, the actors performed well. It's apparent that a lot of thought was put into this series, from casting to adapting bits of the story into each episode. Additionally, Mr. Cavill did wonderfully as Geralt -- not to mention he made the character look really good.
