Time after time Megan continues to refer to the middle of the country as the "rust belt" - quite frankly she needs to abandon this derogatory term. An interesting example would be today when the show featured two doctors from Mayo Clinic and she praised the clinic for the care Mayo gave to her father. Mayo Clinic is in Minnesota - one of the most progressive states in the country. I do not think she would enjoy having her home state characterized in negative terms and she needs to understand that those of us in the "middle of the country" don't like it either.
