John Ballantyne

The setting for this western movie is "present time" and not the old time west (present time is the late 30's - early 40's when it was filmed). Nevertheless it's a pretty good b-western and I enjoyed it. It stars baseball great, Lou Gehrig, who proves himself to be a fairly good actor, Also starring is Smith Ballew who sings up a storm. I recommend this film for old time western fans such as myself.
