Back in the late '50's, when King Kong first premiered on Million Dollar Movie, it was shown 17 times over a one-week stretch. Twice each on Monday through Friday, 4 times on Saturday and 3 times on Sunday (or 3 and 4). I watched it all 17 times. The story, the acting, the cinematography, the music and the special effects were all magical to me. It's my favorite 'horror' film of all time.
