Loved this series up until this book, sadly. The story of the group’s escapades was laughably implausible - two hardened criminals formally enemies, take tea at Cooper’s Chase and suddenly and amicably decide not to kill each after all. Joyce tells drug dealers she no longer has something they’re after, and there are no consequences? The story with Stephen was appalling - again, no consequences? Laughable. Sorry but this book stretched my ability to accept silly story-lines in the name of lovable and quirky characters.
