I had an awesome time playing such a cinematic game. The unreal engine 5 graphic is jaw dropping. Yep, there's walking quite a lot, but having them visuals and sound through your headphones are immersive enough that i quite enjoyed those long walks at times. Although the story is quite short and the battle mechanics arent as deep as other typical modern games, it is a breath of fresh air to have that simple and straightforward combat. It's simple, yet it is making you at the edge of the seat at times as you have to really manage your timing. As real as it gets. This game doesn't deserve the hate of other fanboys, they're unfounded. Be open and you will have a good time. As a neutral, i can easily suggest this game. By the way, i played it on my Series S. It was amazing. Can't see any lack in quality at all. Really puts other devs to shame if they say the Series S is dragging down games, they're just lazy to optimize it.

I think it's unnecessary to have an origin character in this movie. They can simply use any main characters and start from there. Nonetheless, the story feels rushed. Was it great? No, but it's above average. Especially when it comes to game-adapted movie, it can be considered a good one. It is definitely much better than the two movies in the 90's.

You can definitely see the damage control that JJ Abrams tried to do. If not many, a few. As a result there were things that quite weird in the plot and were really unexpected. Spoiler alert. Him excluding Rose from the main plots showed how some things Rian Johnson has done in TLJ was quite unimportant to the closure. Such a missed opportunity to build up more than a thin TLJ plot. Some of you might disagree but Rose and Finn arc was pointless to the whole story and chasing the resistance from start to finish was pretty much the whole thing. Even Luke didn't train Rey properly and only for a few days. Overall, i really enjoyed TROS in terms of the storyline being wrapped up. Although it wasn't really a 'skywalker' that has risen. I really wished that Kylo's internal conflict has more substance but what presented was suffice. For a two hour movie, Rey background story was only sufficient but personally i think it wasn't enough. All are in an Okay department. The final battle was visually impressive. Something you definitely enjoy in a JJ Abrams movie. Honestly, i really hope that the Mandalorian series can fill the gaps about the cloning of Palpatine and Rey's parents.
