I have watched Madam Secretary since the beginning and it's one of the best shows on television. It's a show about politics, parenthood and friendships. This season as Tea Leoni transitioned to President of the United States, I find myself asking why production found it necessary to change her wardrobe to pant suits with blouses and neckties? Additionally, her short bob (hairstyle) has been severely pulled back with a chignon, which hardens her once congenial appearance. I realize I'm speaking about fashion and not politics but the character Elizabeth McCord is a female president so why hide her femininity? It's been said, "the clothes make the man", but in this current political climate must they define the woman as well? #MadamSecretary
