This movie is literally pure propaganda. What makes it interesting certainly isn't the film itself - the script was simplistic and jarring, featured no main protagonist, no character development, was stunningly cliche and gratuitously gory - but rather that so many of its audience members willfully digest this nonsense in what i can only imagine is fearfully misguided nationalism. The movie isn't the spectacle, its hordes of phony reviewers and obsequious lackeys are.
