The movie could have been so much more. Too depressively violent in the extreme.
Felt like a female Charles Bronson revenge flick.
Obviously the colonial and racist card was overplayed as you would expect.
Clever the way it was filmed in old style narrow gauge 1979 colour tint.
Would I recommend it. No not really.
Bit dated.

Very poor after the initial 3 episodes.
Flashbacks used as fillers and not enough believable narrative.
Disappointing. Could have been good. Well maybe.

It had a great cast with good acting and special affects but at the end of the day turned out to be just another vampire movie.
This genre has been overused and is too familiar.
Plenty of Stephen King in this but ultimately disappointing.
