Just finished watching this movie, and I have to say it’s disappointing in everyway. One of the first eyesores for me was the character comparison. Only Zuko has a slight resemblance to the animated version. Seeing Sokka and Katara not depicted as “brown people” kind of screams low budget film too me. Felt like they casted anyone just to get the movie done, with a classic like the Avatar no details like that should be spared. Everything felt dead, the only great affects was all the bending being down. I hope there is a remake in the works and they have a bigger budget to do it RIGHT this time around. If it takes 2-3 to get the sequel of the show then it needs to be done.
