Excellent. I try to watch these new Star Trek series without being stuck on what the old ones were like. I think that is what fuels a lot of people's resentments towards them. I can say that Picard has become one of my favorites in a long line of Star Trek series and movies. It takes on its own identity which, while using some cast from the Next Generation series, has become a series totally separate from it. The storyline was great from start to finish, with pieces of sci-fi, mystery, mayhem, comedy, tragedy and action all combined. The way the series developed from episode to episode demonstrated the ingenuity and loyalty to the Star Trek legacy. I highly recommend that if you haven't seen it, you take the time to watch it. If you are Star Trek fans, please watch this as an independent series and not one to compare to the others. Enjoy. I did.
