Basic plot of small private company blackmailed into working for a crime family comes to life but doesn't rely only on grit and gore - but storylines that tease the possible and deliver. The characters are complicated with human flaws which push the boundaries on sexual and family relationships. Where else might you find a necrophiliac mobster believable? Excellent acting throughout, universally relatable moments with some laugh out loud behavioral moments. 5 Stars from this guy. I binged it. More please!

Olivia Coleman is a master of nuanced expression. Of course, you have to like psychological mysteries. I didn't read the book, so I could only interpret the ending as presented by the movie - and any further review might spoil this story.
