A new twist to an old tale with excellent character development and backstories that made the characters more believable and authentic. While the historical setting was not accurate, the modern flavor to the costumes and dialogue furthered what I believe was the director’s intent for viewers to see the story in a fresh way. Engaging and entertaining.
