That Harlem Girl

Although grown-ish is a show that may keep you some what entertained , i dont really like the story line of this show. First and foremost , Zoey is portrayed to be a boy crazy college girl who cant focus much on her dreams and i feel that , it is a negative image to have on black women whom attend school. I feel they went on a stereotype and thats hella rude. There's also not much realistic college situations in the show which dumb and bore the show down. I dont like the fact how basically the main focus is Zoey having to choose between the 3 boys who like her and not actually focusing on growing up and doing what she loves, which is FASHION. Although drugs and alcohol are a big part of college for the most part, there also isn't any real life events illustrated in these episodes to show the teens of this world that , it is also a dangerous activity to partake in. It's more so advertising the drugs to the children watching. Tbh this show is not as great as people made it sound .
