Decent enough 7.3/10 movie. Some people say that this is the "best movie ever" and they say that "the best soundtrack" but as someone who watched the original film, this is a disgrace to the original. The soundtrack is just sooooo meh, its the definition of " I' mean its alright" Upside Down from the first movie is a masterpiece, California Sun is okay at best, and the animation, doesn't live up to the first one, sure its decent but not that good. And the friendship between George and Ted is nearly completely stripped away, the first one Is a movie I will never get tired of, I have watched the first one 5 times because its that good. And like Shrek the Third, this tries WAAAAAAY to hard to be a sequel, they add back Junior, Ivan, Blommsbery, Maggie (why God why) and it just feels forced. And the new characters are bad too, the detectives are the dumbest characters in the history of media and are probably r3tard3d. And the girl is just bad beyond comprehension, I hate her with a passion, and the elephants are just boring.

(SPOILERS THIS MOVIE IS ON NETFLIX WATCH IT NOW) first of all, this is a 9.5/10. First I will say the flaws, first of all the soundtrack in the beginning is just terrible, and Goldilocks wasn't really that enjoyable, Perrito is just given an unnecessary backstory out of absolutely no where, the scene where Perrito bleeds from the nose is kinda unnecessary, I didn't even laugh at that, I just laughed at Jack Horner saying he's dead inside and actually showing worry for Perrito when he thought he was having a hernia, Speaking of Jack Horner. His defeat/death scene is so clever, because he sticks his thumb into the glass looking star area thing which I love, and also the defeat of actual DEATH was insane, and especially the music and animation, speaking of animation. It's actually surprisingly good for a sequel to a decent at best spin off, but although it isn't as good as Curious George, its still good animation non the less. Also the tease to Shrek 5 made me think up a theory. Puss in Boots might die in Shrek 5, it sounds insane but made the villain will be so strong that Puss dies saying "get the rest of the gang, if I, the cat, the myth, the legend cant defeat him, you must use teamwork" and maybe some of the characters from Shrek the third will be actually important for once. Anyways that's it, don't risk not being able to watch this masterpiece, still not better than George tho, still, not, better.

(SPOILERS AHEAD) Was going into this expecting something okay. Came out with an amazing film. First of all I want to say that the Curious George movie is still better than this but its basically neck and neck. Dave as a Lillian is good but his design is just bad. I know that's the point but still. Private is definitely the best character in the whole movie, kinda like George in the George movie. I also love the Cheetos rip off because its some addiction that these penguins have to it, and when they get into the plane with North Wind the funniest scene happens, when Classified tries to say what the North Wind is but Skipper keeps eating the Cheetos rip off. By far the worst thing is the fart joke, I don't need to explain that.

Near perfect, everything done so well. Will Ferrell, David Cross, Drew Barrymore and Frank Weller did AMAZING. Jack Johnson's songs are just ASTOUNDING. The animation is ASTOUNDING, tons of warm reds and oranges that just fit the movie, and dark colors when its supposed to be dark. And the writing and story are amazing, and the characters are given characteristics, an example is Junior (David Cross)'s greediness. But just one problem. MAGGIE!!! MAGGIE IS A WORTHLESS NOTHING THAT DOES NOTHING BUT MAKE THE MOVIE WORSE!!! BASICALLY ALL SHE IS IS BE A DISTRACTION, TED ( Will Ferrell) COULD'VE BEEN DISTRACTED BY SOMETHING ELSE. But if you have enough time and have Disney+, Hulu or Peacock Premium its a must watch!!! No matter if your an adult or child you'll love this. 9.6/10
