I have been loving the "A Late Show" done from Stephen Colbert's home. I love the naturalness of the setting and the personable nature of the show which Colbert and his family bring to it. I would even say I prefer it to the stage setting. I think the guests have seemed more engaging and sincere, and maybe because of the more casual nature of the format they seem all the more genuine to me. I think John Batiste is such a nice person, I would like to see more of him in conversation with Stephen..I might be sorry it goes back to the old setting. I have talked to others about how I am enjoying this new setting with the Stephen Colbert show and everyone I talk to says they feel the same. I think he is doing a great job and I hope some of these features of the show I am seeing will remain. I wasn't expecting I would like this format more but something about it is really nice.
