You get a mission, enter a glowing spot and clear an area. That's pretty much all there is to this game. I forgot I played this before, and got a refund because it was so shallow. Guess I'll refund again. There IS a merchant you can't buy anything from, but you can donate anything you don't want for "reputation." I still can't find a use for gold and I've been playing 6-8 hours already. The mage just stands there spamming fireballs and the enemy just charge to their death over again. Very boring as there really is no tactics or strategy involved in beating this game. Plays like a mobile game and wouldn't gift this to my worst enemy.

People saying you MUST drift corners obviously don't know how to drive without drifting corners. I find that apexing corners work just fine. Just curb your temptation to drift. Simple.

Not bad. Really reminded me of those old school games I fell in love with. Then I got to the fan-blowing puzzles which requires you to constantly go back and try again if you misjudge, and got tired of backtracking 6 Times because my timing was off, so I finally gave up. Really, there is no old-school console command interface, so they missed the mark there. Maybe I'll try again but I doubt it.

I remember when the 1st Doom came out in the 1990s and was blown away by the sheer immersion and giddy bloodshed it offered. Dusk brings back that feeling again. There are Horror movie tropes throughout and I couldn't help but smile when I picked up the shotgun for the first time and the protagonist says "Groovy" in that Bruce Campbell in Evil Dead kinda way. Just finished the 1st area and loving every minute of it!

Not as bad as a lot of people say. Enemies can be tough and good story and some interesting characters. Fun at times and frustrating sometimes. Overall, not bad.

This is NOT, I Repeat, NOT Mechwarrior Online, and is a single player experience. The other reviewers on this page have obviously not played this game. This is Mechwarrior 4, with a modern engine, a good campaign and killer play. If you want a game that holds your hand and coddled you, then look elsewhere. If you want a compelling game that makes you think and plan your tactics then this game is right up your alley.

It's a slap to your mouth how clingy this movie is. There are so many things they changed to make it less horror and more thriller, and it seems that by the 3rd act, they were just making it up on the spot. There are better techno-thrillers out there which are scarier and more thrilling than this waste of screen space.
