I really struggle to see how anybody can actually sit there and say this was one of the best films of the year. Okay it has a fancy filming technique but this does nothing but drag the film out as you have to watch all the boring, pointless parts. Not only this, the film is a very bad portrayal of how war actually was! Go and watch an episode of band of brothers, then watch this film and you’ll see what I mean. In the entirety of the film I must have seen the main character fire no more than 6 shots, what kind of war film is that??? Over all very disappointed and you’re all saying it’s good because the media is telling you it’s good.
