Ridiculously bad, Watch with a group of friends for the best experience. There's no attachment to the main characters you feel nothing when anything bad happens to them. The setup etc was just boring and made no sense at times, the only good bits were getting to laugh over how silly the idea was and mocking the terrible writing choices or how the blood effects literally looked like a sprinkler from from a pS1 running on 10 frames a second. Very odd with one of the most anti climactic endings I've ever seen. If you want a film to laugh at with friends tho it makes it a 5 star.

The fellow lower star ratings for this film some up all the hilariously wrong things about this film. If you must see it I reccomend pirating it with friends and ready to have a good laugh at how poorly written and executed this entire film is. The first 20 mins seemed okay, they establish what happened in the fire and how Michael survived. However from there it spirals into a boring comedy that I saw people literally get up and leave the cinema early so they wouldn't have to see it. They really should not be making more sequels and they've made scenes so laughable at how bad they are. Example - a scene with a car in which Michael for some reason is clammering on top of the roof. So a lady decides to blindly shoot at every single window for absolutely no reason instead of driving away. So that when he finally does open the door she has no ammo left. This is followed by someone with a gun charging in only for Michael to slam open the door and cause her to... shoot herself?? I was in fits of laughter and me and my friends and the entirety of the cinema were talking amongst ourselves out of pure bordem and amazement that we paid to see this nightmare. Would reccomend for drinking games or a giggle but please don't waste your money and encourage them to ruin Michael even more.

Stumbled across early morning when I couldn't sleep and for the most part seems good enough for a Netflix horror. The acting and directing was enough to keep me invested while constantly questioning what was really happening story-wise. I do agree with other reviews I've seen in that it is slow-paced to get into anything and it is not exactly a movie I would opt to watch a second time. But if your bored late at night and need something on, it's good.
