Idris Elba is a great actor but wrong choice to play Mandela for obvious reasons. Would have to ask yourself if they would’ve picked, say, Antonio Banderas to play JFK? The movie was good, not great. I honestly have to say I like the movie with Terrence Howard and Jennifer Hudson’s version of Winnie and Nelson better
