Acolyte doesn't compare to the Mandalorian, but the show is interesting, and the plot is rewarding if the viewer sticks with it.
Any casual viewer who enjoy Star Wars as a form of entertainment (and not religious dogma) will probably like this show.
I also have to say this: The worst thing about Star Wars is the toxic hardcore fans.
