I honestly couldn't believe how amazing this show was.
From the beginning to the end, the cinematography that the show had created was incredible, from Rue spinning around the room to Jules riding home on her bike ready to meet ‘Tyler’ it blew my mind how clever the crew were.
Comments will be made about the sexual nature in this show, and as a teen, i can say on behalf of my friends that this show speaks truth. I mean most shows that air on tv are always glorifying and sugarcoating the explicit scenes, and even though it is quite graphic at times, it is a teen show and teens and adults should be down to watching it as they should be mature enough. The fact that its all relatable to teenagers out there made it just as good. I know for a fact that this is the sort of stuff that happens when your in high school, but no one actually believes it because of shows that keep it on the low, and thats what makes euphoria incredible.
And the scenes that Zendaya had shot on Rue’s drug life were amazing, she deserves an Emmy for sure. From knowing that the creator, Sam Levinson, had problems exactly like Rue’s showed how real and truthful the storylines were in this show, and it proved that one person can flip somebody’s life upside down. As Jules had helped Rue overcome her addiction to drugs. The scenes with her family were tough but very well made. It showed us the reality of why drugs can not only break a person, but break the others around them. From the mother not only losing her husband, she had the fear of losing her child, and keeping all the grief inside so her kids felt like they hadn't lost there mother was heartbreaking.
In conclusion, this show was made excellently and i cant wait for season 2!"
