I feel like this movie could have done a lot better to make more sense and to hold a more engaging, thought provoking story. A good example of a well made movie in this genre is ready player one, which explores important themes around a dystopian future around living in make believe worlds. This movie could have done the same, and explore important themes around the ethics of ai and artificial conscious, but it instead follows every cliche in the book to deliver a basic story I've seen one too many times. There was so much potential, but this movie doesn't take any risks to explore this. The end result was a bleek, uninteresting story I was hoping to end soon so I can go watch something better.

When I watch a movie the story is the most crucial part. In frozen 2, the story was just terrible. Many characters did legit nothing the whole film, the whole elements arc didn't climax and was quite unfulfilling. Everything was so predictable and downright a bore. I'll admit the visuals and the songs are beautiful, which makes sense why kids would love it, but it just doesn't add anything to the story and in some ways, destroys any possible potential to make something meaningful after the first movie - which did really well on all parts.
