As a long-time Battlefield fan and first time ever pre-ordering a top-tier version of a game, I can say with absolute certainty that I'll never buy an EA game & pre-order again. This game is an absolute atrocity and spits on everything the previous games accomplished. Not only are there so few maps, they're boring as hell and they took an entire year to begin creating content for those who pre-ordered. I'm dumbfounded that a refund opportunity wasn't provided considering they held onto the money for a full year with nothing to show for it. Oh wait, oh my god, we got ONE map!? Wow EA, thank you so much. I take it all back, the entire years worth of holding onto funds is absolutely worth it. Thank you. Also, thank God we have yet another woman on the front lines. Now I can say that things are okay. You've made everything right 👍

I cannot believe how insanely good this movie was. I literally relived my childhood. *some content spoilers below so skip if you don’t want to read* If you played Sonic on the Dreamcast or Genesis, then you’ll remember iconic levels such as when Sonic is snowboarding down a mountain, breathing air bubbles underwater, Sonic and Tails flying on the plane, or when Knuckles goes straight into the heart of a forest. I think what blows my mind is also how well Jim Carry plays Eggman. He blends his exaggerated humor so well while keeping a perfect balance of being dead set on killing Sonic & being evil. This movie literally had the perfect balance of humor and seriousness as everyone toned back the cheesy humor at the right moment to keep the story going. Another thing I appreciate is seeing the pure friendship that Sonic, Tails, & Knuckles develop. Nothing seems awkward or weird, but rather pure innocent childlike friendship chemistry that you experienced as a kid and shines brightly in the darker world that they’re in. I also want to emphasize how well Jim Carry did, because we know how over the top he is with his humor but with Eggman it just fits so well. He laughs and mocks when he has the upper hand just like Eggman. He’s selfish and is truly obsessed with power. Once he has the chaos emerald, he matures while still maintaining his goofy character slightly which I think was phenomenal. Too serious would have taken the charm out, and if he was too goofy, it wouldn’t have carried the tension that was there. Just more mature than he was when we first meet him. He’s entirely focused on power and will stop at nothing to get it. The way he even mocks Knuckles was hilarious & freaking sad haha due to Knuckles’ nativity which any Sonic fan can remember experiencing. We also have just how laid back Sonic is. Again, some people may think it’s cheesy which I would agree if this was any new super hero movie. The hero being this super laxed character who isn’t worried about anything and always sees the good, that is cheesy and generic. But why it’s different is because that’s who we grew up with. Sonic was always fearless and never took Eggman that serious. He also was a true friend to Tails and never wanted to fight Knuckes. Overall, a bloody amazing movie. 10/10. Soundtrack was freaking great too

Game is terrible. What was once a simple, more or less, challenging RPG, has turned into the most hand-held cutscene/special effects filled button-mash fest that requires no thoughts behind playing. Before, you had to conserve your magic, plan out when to attack and when to dodge and block. Now, just spam the hell out of the attack button and you're bound to get some powerup within literally 5 seconds that makes you invincible and allows you to mop the floor with your enemies. And rather than putting in the work to balance everything, the developers added an option to just turn off the powerups. If that isn't the laziest pendulum of one extreme to another, I don't know what is. Appease children fascinated by everything Pixar or cater to those looking for a sweat fest. Screw the people who want a balance in the middle of working toward rational powerups and boosts that reward skill
