G, 2000 has always been one of my fav versions, if anything mostly because it demonstrates Godzilla's inability to be destroyed, by man-made weapons, Second, I like the creatures appearance's they appear more modern and much more menacing. The story in itself also demonstrates Godzilla's ability to adapt to his changing environment, as well as how superior his intelligence is vs his advasary, who while it's from outer space ( obviously) and in itself is extremely intelligent. But against Godzilla he didn't have a chance.

I'm not happy about the political position that G. Clooney has taken. BUT this is one of my favorite films of his. as others commentors here have said. This is a great story. well told with all around great acting. It's a sorry tell tale state of corporate America. the greed, corruption, etc. it's crazy how people die from Supposed natural causes. Etc. Yet the reality is. That they were murdered in order to protect some big wig or major corporation.
