My daughter grew up watching The Llon King and we both loved the original film. I was so excited to see that a remake of our favorite Disney film was coming out. I was a little disappointed with some of the things that were omitted, like Timone and Pumbaa did not “dress up in drags and do the hula” and Simba didn’t swing from the vine, as an example. Also some of the acting fell a little flat. It felt more like a script was being read with no feeling or heart. I still will recommend people to go see this movie and judge for yourself. This is just my opinion.
