It’s not that it’s a bad movie, I was just looking for a prequel that somehow tied family bonds into a character somewhere in the first movies. And, the other two had whimsical fun moments of action, where this one is most often rather blah, even when trying to be colorful. I would have enjoyed it as its own movie, but being tied to the other movies I was disappointed. The flashy fight scenes just aren’t there.
I really think it would have kept me more interested if they would have at least made a family connection in this prequel…but nothing seems to be there but the name of the movie.
