Wonderful job translating the books, and the visual style of the games, onto TV. Henry Cavill is great as Geralt, moody, physically imposing, and the comedy one liner quips - excellent. Ciri is underused, hopefully comes into play more in S2. Even worse for Triss. Yennefer is standout in my opinion, actress is wonderful, and her arc compelling. Writing 6/10 - an odd timeline that bounces between 3 perspectives which makes this season hard to follow. Even with this, and underusing Ciri and Triss, due to excellent world building and acting, I think an impressive s1 with plenty of room for improvement. Hoping for a longer season next time and more monster hunting!
