While I'm sure the movie is true to his life experience, and the music was incredible, I found it to be a depressing, typical addiction story. Most addicts I know have "family of origin" issues and this was typical. I am sorry for his pain, as with anyone who has experienced heartbreak, but I wouldn't pay to see it again, and other than the music (that I can listen to anytime), there was nothing that drew me in. Still love his music though...
