I like the concept and the costumes were amazing but I have a few problems with the show.
1. All the women were incredibly beautiful. I would have liked to see some average-looking woman to balance things out. Not to mention, a lot of white and Asian women were on the show, but hardly any African-British women (I’m saying British, because they shoot the show in London).
With a premise like looking for personality rather than judging on looks, it doesn’t really mean anything if all the people underneath the masks are all attractive.
2. The males looks were balanced, but there were too many African-British guys. I’d like to see more white, hispanic, and Asian guys if there is a season 2. I only saw like 4 white guys and 10 black guys in the first season. That’s not really balanced.
3. Even if the faces were covered, everyone was still looking at each other’s bodies. Many of the people in this show were incredibly shallow and selfish. Especially the guy in the second episode, I couldn’t stand his personality, I hope he got dumped by that girl right after the show. If there is a season 2, I hope they pick some better people that are actually looking for personality instead of the looks.
