A captivating read. I wasn't into it at first because it's not my usual type of novel, but the further I read on... the more excited I became. I felt like I was part of this incredible coming of age story. An epic adventure in the outback Australia. The way certain scenes are described took my breath away. It's fair to say I have a newfound appreciation for Australia, it's native people and their historic way of life. Being from Perth WA myself, this book hits closer to home. Read this book and allow it time to grow on you. A true adventure doesn't happen on page one of any story.
