Unlikely pairing of Washington and Witherspoon in a drama series. The show touches on race, perception, single parent families, well off middle class white families which are are socio-economic issues today. As the show heads to an eventual finale the obvious of who burns down the house looms as the viewer awaits how characters build and the destruction of the home.
