So this isn't my typical movie - my husband loves this stuff so I tagged along for the ride. The acting is intense and very well done. Both Defoe and Pattinson deliver fantastic performances. The movie makes you "feel" what the characters are feeling - isolated, claustrophobic and wet. While it's not a movie I would watch more than once, it was worth going to see.
