Great mini-series! Keep in mind that while some characters are based on real stars of the era, this is fiction with a fairytale ending that we could only hope would have been true to life. Some reviews have focused on why the producer left out the real life struggles of years of years of discrimination in the industry against women and minorities. Again, this is the “dreamland” of how it should have been. The actors, costumes and plot are amazing!

The two popes were beautifully portrayed. Two very different but faithful servants who are capable of change without compromising their beliefs and still find common ground. Good lesson learned.
