Love this movie. I am a Michigander, my husband is a lawyer, and my mother was born in Ishpeming, one of the locations that was filmed in this movie. In addition, my father was a good acquaintance of John Voelker (pen name Robert Traver) who wrote the novel based on this story. So there is that.
