Overall this was a brilliant attempt to show that the strength comes from each other and ourselves and family. The problem with this movie is the juxtaposition of horror and racism. The supernatural component really was not necessary and the message would be stronger if they had kept to the real struggle within ourselves to survive in a racist society and the historical systemic integration of racism in our society.
