If you're a veteran of the ARPG genre, I believe you will be bored to tears with Minecraft Dungeons within the first hour and a half. The build up to the actual progression and loot remains to feel like a chore with little to no interaction with characters or POI's; ensuring the main goal of the game is to run a mission, go to hub, spend emeralds for an RNG chance of better loot, scrap bad loot, rinse and repeat. The leveling up and enchanting of loot missed the mark on the feeling other rewarding ARPG's usually give. While somewhat diverse, the abilities and enchantments aren't unique enough to keep farming passed the base game. Whether it was intended or not, Minecraft Dungeons feels targeted toward children who are too young to play Diablo or Path of Exile. If you're just trying to kill time, it's okay. If you're looking to get invested into a new world full of interesting lore, mechanics, and replayability, I'd advise to stay away.
