A MUST READ!
The Autobiography of Malcolm X is one of the best books I have read in a long time.
I received the autobiography as a gift and it had been sitting on my shelf for around 3 months. I decided to pick it up because the libraries were closed (It was during the lockdown)
It it one of those genuine, one-of-a-kind reads that captivated me from the first chapter all the way to the last
It was an utterly compelling book and it was a complete and utter privilege an honour to take a look into his life, from where he grew up in Lansing to where he was sent to prison in Massachusetts all the way to when he became a Muslim.
He was an extraordinary leader in the civil rights movement and has changed the way I view the Black Rights Movements and racism in general.
It's one of my absolute all time favourite biographies...up there with Michelle Obama's Becoming and Trevor Noah's Born a Crime.
