I went in very skeptical thinking they're just riding on the success of TBBT and we've already seen all of Sheldon's crazy quirks and was very doubtful it would work as a backstory of Sheldon's life. I was amazed at how much I started enjoying it - all the characters are brilliantly portrayed be it Sheldon, his mom, Missy, Georgie, meemaw - they're all a delight to watch. I love this show and I love the little gems hidden in it that allude to TBBT. Even though BBT has ended, I hope this show continues for a few more seasons and we get to see some more of his growing years. I love the family dynamics and find this show more relatable and like to watch it even when I'm feeling a little down. 5/5 from me!
