I really wanted to LOVE this movie, but I didn't. Beautiful countryside but a gloomy movie.

At the beginning of this movie, I loved the idea of true love, even through the worst circumstances. I enjoyed the music and the plot still intrigued me, until he makes the decision to go back. From then on, I found myself figuring out the inevitable, but what got me was no one was held accountable. I think that I needed better closure. I just felt nothing. Disappointed. It could have been a better ending.

THIS is my favorite holiday movie. I've watched it every year for over 25 years and I still look forward to watching it again this year. Barbara Stanwyck is amazingly gorgeous and witty in this CLASSIC! I highly recommend this with a hot cup of coco!

We absolutely loved this movie. A very well written story and beautifully told. The ending caught my husband and I off guard, then the tissue were needed. GREAT, POIGNANT MOVIE!

One of the best movies that I've ever seen! Lily James is just lovely in this!
