Good show with potential. Characters are being developed with back stories & thankfully no silly laugh track. Dialogue seems real between characters.

The stereotypical writing for the white neighbors gets a bit over the top. The white people don't need to be the coolest people/couple around, just find a middle ground for the characters. The same jokes, same reason Blackish got old fast. Shows go over the top trying to "make up" for all the wrongs against minorities over the years, only to go to extremes to insult Caucasian viewers as if we should endure garbage for wrongs we had nothing to do with. Move on & create shows with characters from all walks of life who speak like real people, not some goofy writers idea of juvenile dialogue and behaviors. Sad to see Cedric & the young actor who is his son not take better care of themselves. Talented actors who leave too soon because they won't take better care.

She should of been single. The whole family part is too much & unnecessary soap opera drama, yawn. The Tracker show is much better.

I wonder why they keep making the same movie? For something different, have the Borg or the Magog fight the Aliens. The Predators showed to be a worthy opponent.

Please don't cancel this show. There's no reason on Thursday to not keep this coming on before Elsbeth.

The dialogue sounds more like stand up material. It doesn't sound like what people would actually say to each other. The actors are all ok but no little boy would ever speak like that. GL's first sitcom was the same way, poorly written dialogue.

Please get Paula Abdul to be on the show with a few scenes with Alan. I saw the true feelings they had for each other, they must reunite. Cool is the rule, chill is the drill 😎

I hope they continue the show when Sheldon goes to college, change the name to The Coopers, & continue showing the lives of the others, with a visit to college life & Sheldon.

As a 62 YO Caucasian male I appreciate the show for it's very accurate portrayal of what life was like for a college educated black family in Alabama. The cast are all excellent & the writing sounds the way a family would speak to each other. I also appreciate the parent aspect as I am one to a grown son who is independent like the daughter character. Hopefully many seasons ahead 😜 Cool is the rule, chill is the drill 😎✌️🙏

Nothing funny about a coward. Turned off after 15 minutes.
