Shomeek Basu – Google

Great expectation was my novel for 11and 12 standards. It taught me how to love a woman , be jealous if need be and sometimes stand your your ground as well. What this abomination is, I have no idea. It has strayed so far from the story that it might be a whole new thing, but then again that whole new thing is executed horribly. I was laughing my **s of in the begining because of the new story , characters and their horrible make up, but can't do that too anymore. It is an insult to Dickens and to any one who has atleast one brain cell.

Good action, good story, but bad acting on main actors. Angela Bassett, Lupita Nyong'o acting and expressions were at point. I cannot say the same for others. Unfortunately they are the main characters of this movie. As always , whenever acting feels like acting/forced and not believable then it's not good. This is what happens throught the movie. The movie does have have good cinematography , good music , good dialogues as well. But acting falls flat. I hope Letitia Wright , Tenoch Huerta and Dominique Thorne learn acting as they have so much potential.

If you love the Ice Age series , then please avoid this garbage. The change in voice actors is the first thing you will notice. The previous actors must have given up on this atrocious movie. Character animations also seem a bit different, which might be because Disney bought and then closed Blue Sky Studios. The writing and direction is also very poor. Jokes seem flat and failed to bring out even a smile. Disappointed.
