This was the only Michael Bay Transformers film that kept me entertained all the way from start to finish. Most of them (especially Transformers 2: Revenge of the Sex Appeal) have me lose interest after the first half hour and I end up on my phone out of pure boredom. But Bumblebee (2018) was not that, it was really good. The plot is simple yet gets straight to the point and never gets stale. The actors did a great job portraying their characters. Most of the jokes are actually funny, the CGI is amazing, and Bay shows respect to the source material. This is a fresh, new direction that Michael Bay is taking with the Transformers franchise, excited to see what Rise of the Beasts has to offer!
