I wish I would have watched the movie prior to reading the book. The effects and acting were very good. How the noise was portrayed was awesome. However, so many key elements were left out. The movie did not follow the story line. Many characters were not mentioned and a lot of the action scenes were missing that aided in the suspense and plot of the story. I may not have been as disappointed if I would have watched the movie first.
