Poor adaptation, just as bad as the Shannara attempt a few years ago, great books, terrible execution to film and it will collapse. It is that bad, unless you haven’t read the books, then you might be able to enjoy this, well except for the mediocre special effects. At this point, I hope another company picks up the idea and makes an adaptation but as an elite animation with good voice actors. So much potential pissed away. Again. Peter Jackson did about the best job with LOTR (7) and then GOT (6) with film adaptations. The rest just falls short when screenwriters think they can tell a better story than the original authors. So disappointing.
