Couldn't wait to watch this thinking there may be some similarity to the books and TV shows in the 50's. They copied the names but it seems stupid to call these characters by the name of Iconic characters with nothing in common with the originals. I think they had to come up with a gimmick to get anyone to watch this tripe. The first episode is dark, disjointed, violent, and obscene. The numerous sex scenes are not romantic, but pornographic, violent and gross. I think Matthew Rhys is a good actor and I liked him in the Americans. I suppose his acting is Ok in this series - I just don't like his character. We will not be watching episode 2. Can't wait for the next installment of Bosch and Jack Ryan.
