Honestly, as a teen, I enjoyed the first seasons than this new season with all of the little kids, and no Emma and Ravi and Zuri. This was supposed to be a Jessie spin-off show, but none of the characters from Jessie are there. It feels childish now, and this show was targeted at a preteen audience.

Not “nightmare” scary, but very suspenseful. Very accurate to the legend I know (Michoacána btw). Would not recommend to little children though.
