Outward is good fun...except for when you experience a game breaking bug. There is no garauntee you will enounter any said bugs. Some people claim to have logged several dozen hours of play time without ever encountering a single bug. However, there are some serious issues that dozens of people have encountered and the developers have neglected to fix, even after two DLCs! For one, your back pack can just dissapear with no explanation. The devs state that your backpack will be where you left it, but that is entirely false. There are dialogue scenes that tell you about an event and that can be helpful, but the devs do not recognize how frustrating it is when they tell players to "look at the dialogue" as if the dialogue is legitimately always helpful. There is a random chance that you will lose your backpack FOREVER. Also, you cannot save co-op progress. Being that Outward is one of the only modern couch RPGs out their, you would think that the devs would have bothered to fix the co-op issues. They are extremely disheartening and do not make the game "sophisticated".
I have played through the levant and blue chamber quest lines. I recommend this game to PC players because then you can probably go into the game files to restore items to your account when needed. Don't bother if you're on console.
