The film is receiving a lot of undue negativity. It was flawed and was better suited to being split over two films for pacing and development reasons but with what it was given to work with was actually visually engaging and pleasing. There are criticisms for the force abilities used, however if these were used in the prequels everyone would have gone crazy and been super excited and happy about them, so why the negativity now? The abilities were not that shocking to anyone who has even read Star Wars comics. Overall a film you will enjoy if you stop following the negative bandwagon that hates on every film released. Enjoy it for what it is. If you are a true Star Wars fan you have a right to be disappointing at things that you did not quite agree with but to hate on the franchise you love is pretty ordinary.
