I am loving this book but I think I’ve found a mistake? There is a picture in the book of a chest X-ray of a child who had swallowed (or fed by her sister) 4 open safety pins. It says it was taken in 1071 but xrays weren’t discovered until 1895?? I don’t know how to get this to Bill Bryson or his associates so I will leave it here and see what transpires. Full of some great facts about the body in a readable and simple format. Thank you Bill once again for a great book. One of my favourite authors...
